Greg House

Greg began performing home inspections and working with buyers in 2005 while working for a nationally recognized home builder. He completed his TREC licensing as a Professional Inspector in 2008 and received his Certified Applicator license from the Structural Pest Control Board in 2009. Greg built and ran his inspection company, House Inspection Services. In 2024, Greg completed his Mold Assessment Consultant licensing.
In addition to inspecting and teaching continuing education classes, Greg was selected as a member of the TREC Inspector Committee and is serving a 6-year term to help support and build the industry.
Steve Cook

Steve got his start in the home inspection industry by inspecting multifamily properties in 1992. After coming to his senses and moving to Texas in 1998, Steve worked with municipal housing programs and managed owner-occupied rehab and other grant-funded programs for several years.
He completed his TREC licensing as a Professional Inspector in 2005 and founded the home inspection firm Property Condition Consulting before expanding to PIG.
In addition to managing the inspection business and doing home inspections, Steve dedicates some time to coaching new inspectors who are just getting into the business.
Dean Freeman

Dean has brought his depth of knowledge about construction, and quite frankly, anything mechanical, to the home inspection industry since 2013, when he obtained his Professional Inspector license from TREC. As the Inspection Manager, Dean’s patient, quiet, and calm manner, along with his attention to detail, make him well suited for training new inspectors and reviewing even the most challenging inspection reports with nervous buyers.
Teresa Cook
The Boss
Teresa is the backbone of the Property Inspection Group. She runs the office, manages schedules, takes orders, and makes sure everything keeps moving forward. Teresa’s friendly, cheerful, and helpful voice is often the one answering the phone and letting you know that everyone else is in the field. However, as “The Boss,” she is the one coordinating appointments, getting access for inspections, and chasing the millions of little details that keep an inspection firm running.
When she is not answering phones or telling the rest of the team where to go, Teresa enjoys crocheting. Her sweaters, small animals, and other items are an outlet for her artistic side.
Sam Newman

Sam is an Eagle Scout with experience in remodeling and roofing, before he had his own home inspected by Steve and decided he had found the right career. He completed his TREC training and obtained his Professional Inspector license in 2022. A graduate of Poteet High School in Mesquite, Texas. Sam attended Eastfield and Blinn College, where he was on the President’s list for both schools.
With an Eagle Scout’s dedication, his friendly and easy-going disposition, and great communication skills, Sam is a favorite with clients.
Kathy Risinger
Business Development

Kathy brings her 20 years of Real Estate and business knowledge to the home inspection industry in a novel way. Her many years as a Realtor, experience in commercial banking, loan underwriting, and credit management all combine to put her BBA in marketing to great use. A former Sergeant in the Marine Corps, her attention to detail and integrity become evident quickly. Her heart for community service has been recognized by the Texas governor, commissioning her a Yellow Rose of Texas.
Keith McAnally

Keith McAnally brings his experience as a commercial contractor, manager, and make-ready handyman to the home inspection industry. Keith’s depth of knowledge in construction has made home inspection an easy and natural fit for his knowledge and skills. A cool operator, nothing seems to rattle him, and clients love his calm and knowledgeable presentation method and thorough reports.
