OUR PROCESS

CONSULTATION AND REPORTING

1

Client Interview, Site Visit, & Testing

House Inspection Services will take the time to visit with you regarding your mold concerns. A thorough site visit will be scheduled and conducted to evaluate the conditions at the property. Mold inspection and testing includes on-site air samples, along with surface samples of visible areas of concern.

2

Accredited Lab Testing

House Inspection Services only works with an accredited, local lab to process samples collected for your mold inspection and testing. A Mold Assessment Report will include lab information, and the entire lab report will be forwarded to you.

3

Professional Mold Protocols

In the event that a Licensed Mold Remediation Contractor is recommended, House Inspection Services can provide the necessary Mold Protocol (Hygiene Report). The Mold Protocol is a separate service from the Mold Assessment. Please contact us for more information.

What is a Mold Assessment

A mold assessment is a specialized evaluation of a property to determine whether mold is present, where it may be growing, and what conditions are contributing to its development. Unlike a basic visual check, a mold assessment combines on-site sampling with professional analysis from an accredited laboratory to deliver reliable results you can act on.

Buying or selling a home

Suspecting water damage or musty odors
